Back in the Saddle again

So I've been feeling the blues again lately. I feel lethargic and I have been neglecting my chores at home. I let the weeding get out of hand again and now I will pay for it. I told my brother in law that I realize that this isn't the season to have a fabulous yard- it is the season the build into my daughter. I just need to maintain the yard so that it doesn't get to a useless state again. We just need to keep it up to the point when our kids can spend some time outside with us while we do things in the garden. So for now I'll just have to squeeze in gardening time when I can. At least I have that.

So to combat my blues I am back on my schedule. I went for a quick walk with the girl right after breakfast and then I came home and did some trim work in the living room. It is sanded, touched up with paint and the wall is touched up right behind the piano as well. Now we can move the piano back into place and the room won't seem quite so "undone". I can't wait!

Here are some pics of the girl and our trip to Sisters. My dad is in some of them as well as his girlfriend Melissa that we are now calling "Sa-Sa". It is her official name for Sarah to use so we can show her inclusion in the family. She is a fabulous addition!
