Do You Have A Signature Dish?

For the past 2 years I've been on a cake making odessy. I make birthday cakes for family members and I go all out with the decorations. I am not so good at it yet, but I have a few things figured out. The cakes might not look like Martha Stewart, but they always taste really good.

This year we are responsible for sweet potatoes at Thanksgiving. I think we will bring two dishes, one sweet potato pie, and another one, a stuffed sweet potato. My sister in law has a head count of 34 people for dinner tomorrow, so I think both dishes will be used. This brings me to my question: What is your signature Thanksgiving dish and where did you learn it?

I was thinking of this the other day. A dish I usually make is Onion Bake, you saute a bunch of onions (a BUNCH) until soft and then you bake with cream, swiss cheese, rice, and probably something else I can't remmeber right now. It's yummy. But for some reason, it didn't make it on the menu?! Oh well. My MIL (who gave me the recipe years ago) will make it at Christmas I'm sure.

This year I coached Jman while he made a pumpkin pie. He did a great job and I think that will become his signature dish.
