Ahhh...Spring!

I like this day. I am currently sitting outside in my back yard with the laptop. I am in the shade of the Aspen (soon to be cut down since it is now bending about 10 feet off the ground). I have a San Pellegrino Limonata (a Italian lemon soda) with a cool breeze and a view of my handiwork for the day. Today I pulled weeds in the soon-to-be-rose-garden as my girl ran around the yard exploring. At the very end she became interested in the Nandina berries, and as I remember they are poisonous...I cut them all off during her naptime. We are pulling out the Nandina anyway so why not take off the bad parts now? We are hoping to turn the center island into more grass area for the kiddos. I like that idea very much since the current landscaping hides a portion of the yard...I don't like that.

My girl is crying..I left the window open so I could hear her just in case. She only slept an hour and 15 minutes and I think she needs more sleep. I'll just wait and see if she settles herself in her crib.
