I Made the Switch to Beta

Now we'll see if it's any betta'.

Anyhoo, sorry, candy corn moment right there. I think I ate my 140 calories worth already. Anymore and I'll go into a coma. Just got back from Walmart which I think I am going to rename "The $50 Store" because lately it seems like I can't get out the door for under that amount. It really gets up there because formula is $1.88 a can and that's the cheapest we can get it. Thankfully I do believe that this was the last trip for that since my girl is going to be a year old ina few weeks and we can switch to whole milk. That will be very nice. Maybe I'll spend less at the $50 Store after that.

I just got the very best costume for the girl while I was there. I bought a bumble bee costume from Target yesterday and I thought DH and I could go as bee keepers. Now I think I am going to cancel the Target one and go another route for us. You'll just have to wait for the photos.

What else? Hey does anyone have a recipe for anything other then chicken? I am in a rut and I need some recipe help for anything other then chicken. It's almost the only meat we eat these days. Especially the rotisserie chicken at Costco. Man is that a good deal for $5. We get about 4 meals out of one of those, not including the chicken stock we can make with the bones.

Ok, my brain is fading and I bet I only have enough time to get a short shower in before my girl wakes up from her second nap. Her first one was only about 40 minutes and that's not nearly long enough. Yet it was long enough to accomplish my daily goal of clearing the hallway upstairs of all baby hazards. Since the girl is getting so mobile and we're having all the cousins for a birthday party I thought I should start cleaning up the house a little bit everyday.

Since I am unable to properly digest red meat I've had to come up with new things to eat. Try using ground turkey or turkey sweet italian sausage. We use it to make teriyaki burgers, hamburger gravy, taco salad, boloneges, chili...

I TOTALLY agree with your Walmart comment! I really try to go in to buy ONLY what I need and, lo and behold, I end up loading several bags into my trunk. Sigh. Glad I'm not the only one.

His,
Mrs. U
