"If it's not something else then it's your mother"

That is one of the funniest lines I ever heard from my friend Christy. She was talking about her mom giving her unsolicited advice about pregnancy. She ended her confession with this line that sums up most women's lives: If something else isn't irritating then you then your mother will (my paraphrase). It makes me think of some of the funniest lines in media today and some I've always kept in my head- here is a rare glimpse into what I think is funny:
  1. "Skip to the end...skip to the END" -The Princess Bride
  2. "I want you to feel you are doing well" -The Princess Bride
  3. "You don't eat meat? It's ok, I make lamb." -My Big Fat Greek Wedding
  4. "You are just jealous of my Latin hotness!"- The Bird Cage
  5. "It tastes like feet."- Friends

Aaron and I found So I Married an Axe Murderer on tv the other day and we both remembered how much that movie cracks us up. The scene where the grandpa is talking about the size of the boys head..."He's going to cry himself to sleep on his giant pilla" - always makes me laugh.
