Galloping forward in life

So the girl passed two major milestones this week! For starters she figured out how to drink out of a regular cup and then she followed that up by holding her own bottle in her hands at Costco. Yesterday she almost perfectly imitated Alan saying "Da-da" first thing in the morning so we think that might be pretty close as well. I know she understands me when I tell her to "let-go" because she actually does it. I also think she knows what it means when I say a few other things like "No". She knows her name (I think) and she knows to respond to her Daddy when he calls on the phone. It's pretty amazing all in all. Kids are like that for a parent. A glimpse into perfection, or the beginning of creation where there was nothing but exploration and pure joy.

She is pure joy.
