Christmas at Imajackson's House

Well I must say once more I am so pleased to have shopped before Christmas time. The only thing I kept forgetting were items from the grocery store. I had to go back about 3 times in two days. Thankfully, I got everything eventually and I could cook the Christmas spinach gratin (per Barefoot Contessa Parties) for the big day. We had presents at home and then went to my In-laws' house for the big to do. All the kids had a good time although I was quite pooped out by my daughter. She is very mobile and curious and was into absolutely everything possible. All the shelves are low to the ground in the house so she had a LOT to toy with. I think I circled the house about 50 times with her before we even opened presents.

I finally felt pregnant, though and that was a nice feeling. I have 9 months to wait and it's nice to know he or she is in there just cooking away!
