And then I got the flu.

I sang in a trio last Sunday and a few short hours later I was chilled to the bone. As you might know that's how the flu comes on and by that evening I was sporting a temp of 101. Then four days of the flu which entailed my husband staying home from work and a lot of other sordid events I certainly cannot put on this blog. The upshot of being repulsed by the very sight of food for 4 days meant I dropped another 10 pounds. Isn't that crazy? Maybe I will hit that weight goal by Christmas.

I finally have photos! Apparently I recently lost my skill of taking pictures in focus. So I don't have as many as I thought I would. But here they are!

This is my girl with her birthday cake. She was concentrating very hard on eating the cream cheese frosting.

This was Halloween when we went as a Lion and her Lion Tamers. Dh said I looked more like a circus ring leader then a Lion Tamer. It was still fun though and we actually trick or treated two houses before the meltdown.

Boy do they look alike more everyday!

This is her John Wayne impression with a little cowboy hat. Her look in this photo is exactly what I looked like when I was a year old.
Lastly, this is what happens when Daddy and the girl play really hard on a Saturday afternoon.
